As we are recovering from the aftermaths of Hurricane Irma, the southern parts of Florida and also those who were affected by Hurricane Harvey, my prayer for recovery, rebuilding and that there would be restoration of the homes within these communities.

Great Opportunity for Certification
Progressive Care Certified Nurse. Collectively describes areas known as intermediate care units, direct observation units, step-down units, telemetry units or transitional care units. (Required 1,750 bedside hours prior to sitting for exam)
CCRN: Certified Critical-Care Registered Nurse. Critical-care nurses who care for acutely and /or critically ill patients. (Required 1,750 bedside hours prior to sitting for exam)

Nurses who are both AACN (national) and PBCC (local) members take advantage of the discounted review rate.
If you are not a current member of both organizations, you can select a registration fee inclusive of the cost of a one-year National AACN and local PBC Chapter memberships. As you can see, the total cost for you as a new member is below cost of the non-member. Membership benefits include free local monthly dinner meetings with CEUs, and national provides subscriptions to 3 critical-care nursing journals, web access, current research practice alerts and more.

SPEAKER: Kendra Kent RN MS-BC, CCRN, SCRN, CNRN, has an extensive and comprehensive knowledge base and is known for her ability to simplify the complex while maintaining audience attention. Kendra has presented seminars throughout the country for over 15 years. She is certified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, American Board of Neuroscience Nursing and American Nurses Credentialing Center in Pain Management Nursing, and is a Fundamental Critical Care Support Instructor (FCCS) for the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
